Pruning
Pruning is useful to form a canopy to be more regular. There is no fixed rule pruning techniques Adenium. It is tailored to the desires and tastes. However, there are some things that must be considered. For example, branch overlap or intersect, you should cut it.
Sprinkling
Although Adenium not need water in large quantities, these plants still need water for life. Too much water actually result in root rot. Conversely, lack of water causes wrinkles roots. As a result, the leaves turn yellow, fall, and then the plants grow stunted. When the weather is sunny, watering once a day with a dose sufficient. Watering should be in the morning. Watering by using a sprayer to create water droplets smooth so as not to damage the plants. When flowering, reduced the frequency of watering 2-3 times a week.
Fertilization
Adenium need nutrient elements, both macro and micro for growth and flowering. Sprinkle a slow release fertilizer, such as Osmocote, dekastar, growmore, and megamp every 3 months. To stimulate flowering give P and K fertilizers containing high, as Gandasil B, Hyponex, and growmore. Fertilization 2 times a week until the plants are flowering.
Placement
Like a desert plant, Adenium is laid out in the open and gets enough sunlight. Good location in the yard or garden is open, but not directly exposed to pouring rain or wind.
Sanitation
Weeds and weed around the pot can be a vector and disease pests. If the plants were allowed to grow into a contender in the absorption of nutrients. Therefore, keep the surrounding environment, including the repeal of weeds and grass. When emerging pests (aphids, thrips, mealy bugs root, fungus gnat, and spider mite) and disease (pomopsis, and root rot) take immediate action to control the proper pesticide spraying. Plants that have been great and not worth the pot should be moved to a larger pot.
